Consent to the processing of personal data

This is a translation of the Russian text, offered for convenience. The service is operated under Russian law, and the Russian version is the governing one; if the two ever disagree, the Russian text applies.

What you are agreeing to

By ticking the box "I give my consent to the processing of my personal data" on the sign-in screen of the Archground service (the /app/signin page of archground.com and archground.ru), you, of your own free will and in your own interest, give the operator your consent to the processing of the personal data listed below, on the terms of this document and in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On personal data".

The consent is given with a box of its own and to this text alone. The personal data processing policy is shown beside it on the sign-in screen so that you can read it; you are not asked to accept it.

Consent is voluntary. Without it you cannot sign in to the service: the field for your e-mail address appears only once the box is ticked. The site's public pages — the main page, the embedded models and the legal documents — open without consent, and you submit nothing there.

The edition of this text is 2026-10-28. When you request a code, it is sent to the server and recorded together with your consent; the server does not accept a code request made against any other edition.

Who you are giving it to

The operator is Sergei Sergeevich Zobnin (Зобнин Сергей Сергеевич), a private individual. Not a company: there is no legal entity, no company registration, and no data protection officer.

What data is processed

the e-mail address you enter on the sign-in screen;
the one-time six-digit code and the sign-in link sent to that address;
the session key — in the ag_session cookie in your browser — and the session's expiry;
the record of this consent: the edition of this text, the date and the time — at every sign-in;
the account's details: the dates of creation, approval and last sign-in, and the editing mode you chose;
if the operator put your address on the allowlist, that entry: its date, who made it, and the operator's note if there is one;
your workspace memberships and your role in each;
the record of what you do in the workspaces' models: what you proposed (with its text, notes and citations of sources), accepted, rejected, deferred or retired, and when — under your account identifier, not your address.

The e-mail address is stored only in encrypted form (AES-256-GCM) and looked up through an HMAC-SHA256 "blind index"; the code and the session key are stored only as HMAC values. The service does not ask for your name, phone number or anything else about you.

Why

One purpose — to give you access to the Archground service: to let you in by code or link and recognise you during a session; to decide who may sign in and what they may see (the allowlist, the operator's approval of the account, workspace membership); to confirm that consent was given and to which edition; and to keep the ledger of who proposed and accepted what into a model. The data is used for nothing else.

Nothing is sold. There is no advertising on the site. No decision producing legal effects for you is made from this data.

Legal basis, and what is done with the data

The legal basis is your consent: Article 6(1)(1) and Article 9 of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On personal data".

The actions performed: collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, changing), retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access), blocking, deletion and destruction. The processing is automated.

Who else receives the data:

on the operator's instruction — the hosting provider HOSTKEY, on whose server in the Russian Federation the site and its database run, and the mail service Yandex 360, through which the e-mails with the code and the link are sent (it receives the recipient's address and the e-mail itself);
inside the service — workspace administrators see the e-mail addresses of their workspace's members and of every approved account, so they can choose whom to add; a workspace's members see what you do in its model under your account identifier, not your address.

There is no cross-border transfer of personal data. The e-mail with the code is delivered to the mailbox you named.

How long it lasts, and how to withdraw it

Consent lasts until you withdraw it. If you do not sign in to the service for 24 months, the account is deleted together with its consent records, and a new sign-in needs consent again.

If this text changes, its edition changes too: at your next sign-in you give consent to the new edition. Consent to a previous edition is not consent to the new one.

You can withdraw consent by writing to sck.spb@yandex.ru — preferably from the address concerned. There is no withdrawal button on the site; signing out ends only the session and does not withdraw consent. On receiving a withdrawal, the operator personally, within the period set by Federal Law No. 152-FZ:

removes your address from the allowlist — no code is sent to it any more, and every workspace membership ends;
deletes your account — taking with it the e-mail address, the sessions, the consent records and the workspace memberships — and the allowlist entry for your address.

What remains is the acceptance ledger's entries and your proposals in the workspaces' models. By design that ledger can be neither changed nor deleted: otherwise the model could not say how each statement entered it and who accepted it. Once the account is deleted, the person acting in those entries is shown by an identifier that is no longer linked to any e-mail address in the system.

Your rights

Under Federal Law No. 152-FZ you may obtain access to your personal data, require it to be corrected, blocked or deleted, withdraw your consent, and complain about the operator to Roskomnadzor or to a court. The personal data processing policy has the details.
